Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.

Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events that may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and all manner of arts and sciences you would find in the culture of pre-1600s Western Europe.

The East Kingdom is comprised of the areas of eastern Pennsylvania, eastern New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Within the East Kingdom there are Baronies, and Pine Park falls within the The Realm of the Barony of Carillion.

You can visit their website for more information on the Kingdom and the Barony…www.carillion.eastkingdom.org.

"Wolves” Howling Woods Farms

Howling Woods Farm is a breed-specific animal shelter that rescues and places domestic bred wolves, wolfdog hybrids and northern breeds. They also provide education and information to the general public about wolves and wolfdogs. They can often be found at public events with their animals, throughout the State of New Jersey. They have been with us at the Renaissance Faire for several years and are a welcome addition to it. Knights of Valour

The Knights of Valour since 1997 have been entertaining audiences nationwide with their exciting shows of horsemanship, bravery, and chivalry. This tradition continues as their upcoming season is filled with opportunities to see them at special events or watch our team compete in full armour contact jousting. Shane Adams “Sir Shanton” entered his first competitive tournament, the U.S. International Championship in Estes Park, Colorado. He has won the world title several times. Shane and The Knights of Valour first performed in the Village of Pine Park on September of 2001. In early part of 2012 Shane Adams hosted History’s Full Metal Jousting.
